A huge disclaimer I need to make:
YouTube auto-crawls many/most of the links placed in their descriptions. So you might see a spike in your Amazon EPC clicks the day(s) that you swap links. This is normal. In fact, even if you did the process manually, this would still be the case (because YouTube would still crawl those links, and you could get a “click” if those links have EPC campaigns).
As long as you don’t abuse the system by swapping back and forth, inflating your EPC clicks, you’ll be fine.
If you wanted to be super safe, you could spread out your conversions over a period of a month so that you don’t have a spike on any one day.
Ultimately, this is just a tool, and you’re responsible for how you use it.
